There are some specific things to note when choosing electromagnetic flow meter are

Is the fluid conductive or water based?
Is the fluid or slurry abrasive?
Do you require an integral display or remote display?
Do you require an analog output?
What is the minimum and maximum flow rate for the flow meter?
What is the minimum and maximum process pressure?
What is the minimum and maximum process temperature?
Is the fluid chemically compatible with the flow meter wetted parts?
What is the size of the pipe?
Is the pipe always full?

Kind of Electromagnetic Flow Meter :

iMAG Series Magnetic Flow Meters

The iMAG-Series is the most economical flanged electromagnetic flowmeter on the market. It is used in 3” to 12” pipe in municipal or industrial water, waste or reclaimed water, pump stations and packaged plant applications. The iMAG has no moving parts and electrodes are designed to discourage fouling. This magmeter requires ..… read more

Plastic Bodied Magnetic Flow Meter

The WMP-Series is a full-bore, plastic-bodied electromagnetic flow meter designed for flow and usage monitoring applications in 1, 2 and 3 inch pipe. The polypropylene flow tube offers corrosion resistance to a wide range of chemicals and fertilizers. It is light weight and easy to install or remove from the pipe for
inspection*. read more…

Insertion Electromagnetic Flow Meter

The Insertion Electromagnetic Flow meter are adjustable depth insertion magnetic flowmeters
that fi t 3” to 48” pipe (up to 72” optional). The complete lack of moving parts of the EX800/100/200-Series is the source of its reliability. Brass and stainless steel models withstand a variety of temperature, pressure, and chemical conditions. The EX-Series has no rotor to stop turning in dirty water and there are no bearings to wear out. read more
